In this week’s totally craptastic news, a curvy woman in her forties was kicked out of a waterpark for wearing a bikini when many younger and thinner women in similar swimwear were not asked to leave.  Hey, welcome to summer!  Would you like a massive stinking pile of ageism and body-shaming to go with your Slurpee?

MEANWHILE, the Iowa Supreme Court ruled that it’s a-ok to fire a dental aide for being too much of a looker—“because the boss views the employee as an irresistible attraction.”  Uh-huh, rather than expecting the big powerful dentist dude to behave professionally, let’s just fire the woman who works for him!

It seems like no matter where women fall on the (totally misogynistic and bogus) rating scale of physical beauty, they can be booted out of virtually any space if their bodies make the folks in charge feel uncomfortable.   ‘You’re too hot to work here.’  ‘You’re not hot enough to swim here.’  Say whaaaaat? No matter our age, or size, or our appearance, women can’t win–except by joining the revolution!!!
